Special Olympics is a global movement of people creating a new world of inclusion and community, where every single person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability. Special Olympics is helping to make the world a better, healthier and more joyful place - one athlete, one volunteer, one family member at a time.   Special Olympics International (SOI) engaged Tenneo (formerly G-Cube LMS) in 2017 to implement a centralized e-learning platform to automate elements of training for coaches and volunteer health professionals around the world. The learning platform, interfacing in the 6 official languages of Special Olympics and using automatic performance tracking, is enabling Special Olympics for the first time to provide a truly global cloud-based learning system to its international community.   While onsite at the Special Olympics World Games 2019 in Abu Dhabi, taking place from the 14th to the 21st of March, Tenneo (formerly G-Cube LMS) is committing to extend access to more Special Olympics staff and volunteers on a significantly reduced fee based on Tenneo (formerly G-Cube LMS)'s commitment to the Special Olympics movement. This will enable the learning platform to reach more volunteer and staff members in new areas, including as part of Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools and the Special Olympics Leadership Academy. The learning platform is now effectively training 2,500 Healthcare professionals and Sports Coaches. With the introduction of additional learning material in 2019, this number is expected to grow to 50,000 learners.   Bharat Jain, Senior Consultant at Tenneo (formerly G-Cube LMS), is honored to join more 7,000 athletes and Unified partners from over 190 countries at the World Games in Abu Dhabi. "I am so excited to be a part of this incredible event and also the day-to-day training that keeps Special Olympics running year round," says Jain. "We look forward to continue supporting Special Olympics through innovative technology for this unique charity organization."
