The learning management system (LMS) has been adopted by businesses of all sizes to meet their workforce’s learning and training requirements. LMS offers an easy-to-use and convenient method of delivering training to the entire workforce at the same time. However, LMS has so much more to offer to organizations besides improving their existing and future customer relationships.
Building a strong relationship with customers is key to long-term success for any business. A strong connection is based on trust and communication that makes customers feel more secure and connected with a brand. Customer relationships are important because they increase sales, reduce customer attrition, deliver invaluable marketing, boost employee morale, and turn customers to get into long-term relationships with the brands of their choice. 68% of consumers say they are willing to pay more for products and services from a brand known to offer good customer service experiences.
Let’s understand more to know how the Learning Management System can be used for building customer relationships and taking this customer-organization relationship to the next level for achieving business growth.
Make your customer’s onboarding experience memorable
Keeping customers happy at a start of a new relationship is crucial. Thus, the customer’s first experience with any of the products is always important and becomes the basis of referring the product to other customers. With LMS, you can customize onboarding training that not only equips the customers on how to use a product but enables them with hands-on product demonstrations. The LMS can be integrated with communication tools such as video conferencing, collaboration, surveys, or chats to create an experience that is a combination of customer representative support and digital training.
Keep training your customers throughout their journey
Just making a great product for a customer base does not help with the organization’s purpose to serve its overall users. If the customer is unable to understand how to use the product, there are chances that they wouldn’t like the product and promote it further. A Learning Management System here helps organizations to create a repository of optional training on various products that the customers have access to at any given point. This way, customer queries can be answered at their comfort using the Help and FAQs section.
Reward your customers via Competitive learning (Gamification)
Continuous learning is important in all aspects and if that comes with rewards or recognition, it becomes an added advantage to boost one’s morale and a way to appreciate their efforts. Learning Management System helps you to gamify your customers’ training experience by providing them badges, rewarding them with virtual currency, and scoring points. This approach makes the customers feel rewarded and happy, which in turn encourages them to learn quickly and efficiently.
Feedback collection on a real-time basis
LMS is an excellent tool for collecting data and analyzing them from various aspects. Using an LMS can help with creating customer surveys and assessments. These surveys help to get reported feedback, while the assessments gather insights into how your customers are learning. The reports and dashboards in the LMS make use of this data to notice trends in customer satisfaction, pain points in product understanding, and other potential areas for improving the relationship.
Reduce product disengagement
The Learning Management System acts as a learning tool and helps in analyzing the trends based on the data available. The LMS reports allow organizations to keep track of the decline in product usage. LMS enables organizations to reach out to these sets of customers and see if they need any assistance with the product. With Learning Management System they can arrange additional in-person training on the ways which can help customers to make the most of the products in their business.
LMS integration with your CRM and other tools
Product changes and updates can be one of the most challenging moments in customer relationship management. Hence, sharing timely updates is very important as by the time all updates are communicated, many customers would have already tried to use the product and run into trouble. The LMS integration with CRM and other sources help to mitigate these difficulties.
Learning Management Systems are built in an effective way to make the process of learning and training smoother and easier. The use of a Learning Management System to build long-term relationships with your customers will end up being beneficial to organizations as a whole and shall continue to bear fruits for a long time.
